Stand behind a tripod and press the "special" button to take a picture, capturing the magic of Jurassic Park. Pics or it didn't happen, right? No one will believe you saw some dinosaurs unless you get some evidence! At various points in the island hubs, you'll find tripods set up (or you'll have to build one). There are 275 Gold Bricks to earn in this game, and the amount of Gold Bricks you have is generally indicative of your overall completion percentage. Gold Bricks are exactly what they sound like, and you can collect them in several different ways. Collect an Amber Brick to unlock a new dinosaur for use in exploration and customization. Looking like triangular pieces of amber, you'll find one of these in each Story level. Collect all 10 to complete that level's Minikit Fossil, awarding you with a playable fossil skeleton. These appear as brown boxes with various bones and items inside, and there are 10 of them in every Story level. Once you achieve True Survivor, you cannot lose it, even if you lose all your studs. Once you fill the stud bar, you will achieve True Survivor status. As you collect studs, the stud bar will gradually turn yellow. Collecting studs in a level will reveal a stud bar in the top center of the screen. There are even purple studs worth 10,000!Ĭollecting studs is essential if you want to reach True Survivor status. The silver studs are worth 10, the gold studs 100, and the blue studs 1,000. Studs act as the game's currency, so you'll want to be picking up as many as you can find. In my opinion, these are the most important things to collect. There are lots of things to collect, so it's important to know what you are looking for! You can check your overall collectible progress at any time by checking out the pause menu. To get 100%, you gotta collect everything. Screenshots are also included to add clarity to the walkthrough. Free Play Mode walkthroughs contain the locations of all 10 Supply Boxes and the Amber Brick, even if they can be collected in Story Mode. At the top of the walkthrough will be a list of the abilities you'll need to collect all of the collectibles in that level. My Free Play Mode walkthroughs are also divided into parts, as I believe this makes them easier to navigate. At any point in Free Play Mode, you can save and exit to return to the hub without having to complete the level. In Free Play Mode, your goal is to find all of the collectibles. The game will then give you a selection of other characters to cover all of the abilities you have unlocked. In Free Play Mode, you can select any character from all the ones you've unlocked to take into the level. If you need to purchase them, I have also included their cost in studs.Īfter completing a level in Story Mode, you will be able to play it in Free Play Mode. At the end of the walkthrough, I list any characters or vehicles you unlocked. I do not include the locations of any collectibles, even if you can collect them in the story. To keep things simple, I use the same names in this guide.īelow each part, I explain what to do in that part to progress in the level. To find out which part you are in, simply pause the game and look to the bottom of the screen to find the section name. This game is unique in that each section of the level is already given a name. Each part is a distinct area of the level, separated from other areas by a screen wipe (it will be very obvious when you enter a new area). Each level is split up into parts, which I sometimes call areas in the text. Finally, I list the True Survivor total for that level. I also list both your starting characters and any characters that are added as you progress. After completing a level in Story Mode, you can select the Replay Story option to replay the level in Story Mode.Īt the top of my Story Mode walkthroughs, I list the enemies you'll encounter and any bosses you will fight (if any). Generally, your exploration is limited due to the characters you have, meaning you'll have to come back in Free Play Mode to unlock the collectibles you couldn't collect in Story Mode. You will only have access to the characters that the game gives you. The first time you play a level, you will be playing Story Mode. I also describe how I structure the walkthroughs for each game mode. There are two main game modes you can play, which I'll describe here. This game has plenty of levels for you to play, with 20 story levels and a handful of bonus levels.
